So I was out carousing the Internet today and I stumbled across the coolest thing ... Virtual Trade Shows. Have I been living under a rock lately or what?
There are companies out there that have plugin's and web based software they've created that have a multitude of ways to interact in a "trade show" environment on the web. Some just list people and their info and ads, a few I found are actual virtual environments you walk through. They do this for trade shows and job fairs now. It was so cool!!!
A long time fan of virtual environments (see another post coming soon on this), I really got into the more interactive ones. I wonder though, how do you see them being implemented moving forward? How does it affect the trade show industry (i.e. those who manage them, the exhibit firms, the booth creators, etc). Do you see add-on market potential for businesses such as booth designers to get into this virtual environment to create virtual booths?
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
